MoFA of Bahrain strongly condemns the Houthi militia’s attack on a Saudi commercial vessel using an explosive-laden drone

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemns the attempt of the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia’s attack on a Saudi commercial ship using an explosive-laden drone, stressing that these repeated acts reflect the insistence of the Houthis to continue attacking the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and destabilize security and stability in the region.

The Ministry commends the efficiency of the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen which were able to intercept the attack, it stresses the need for the international community to take deterrent measures against these repeated violations that violate all international laws, and aim to impede maritime traffic in the region and freedom of global trade.
