Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemns terrorist Houthi militia’s actions in Republic of Yemen, against Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemns the terrorist Houthi militia’s preparation of two explosive-laden boats in Al-Hudaydah Governorate in the brotherly Republic of Yemen, threatening the security of maritime navigation and the safety of global trade lines south of the Red Sea, and in violation of the Stockholm Agreement and the ceasefire implemented in the governorate.
The Ministry also condemns the continued attacks of the terrorist Houthi militia against the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through launching a hostile drone towards the Kingdom yesterday evening, in addition to the thwarted attempt to launch an explosive-laden drone towards the city of Khamis Mushait this morning, to target safe civilians and civil facilities in violation of International humanitarian law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commends the vigilance of the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen and the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces in promptly dealing with these repeated terrorist attacks. It also stresses the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all the measures it takes to ensure the security of its territory, its citizens and residents, in addition to preserving the safety of shipping lines. It further calls upon the international community to take deterrent measures against the terrorist Houthi militia to stop such actions.
