Minister of Foreign Affairs receives Chairman of Bahrain Jurists Society
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received in his office at the Ministry’s General Court today, the Chairman of the Bahrain Jurists Society, Dr. Abduljabbar Ahmed Al-Tayeb, in the presence of the Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Doseri.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs commended the role of the society in promoting human rights values and principles and defending human rights in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also highlighted the society’s efforts in promoting the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of human rights at the regional and international levels.
For his part, Dr. Al-Tayeb valued the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the society, praising its efforts in preparing the national plan for human rights in cooperation with all relative authorities in the interest of the Kingdom and its citizens.
The two sides discussed the development of joint bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bahrain Jurists Society in various fields of common interest.
