Minister of Foreign Affairs meets Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sultanate of Oman
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Abdulatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Humood Al Busaidi, who is currently on an official visit to the Kingdom to lead the Omani delegation in the 7th joint Bahraini-Omani Ministerial Committee meeting.
The two sides highlighted the deep-rooted bilateral relations and their continuous development under the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.
They also reviewed means of bolstering fraternal relations as well as cooperation and coordination in various fields to achieve the common interests of the two countries and their people.
The two sides discussed the latest regional developments and challenges, and the efforts exerted to ensure stability, security, development and prosperity.
From the Bahraini side, the meeting was attended by the Ministry’s Undersecretary for Political Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, the Ambassador of the Kingdom to Oman, His Excellency Dr. Jumaa bin Ahmed Al-Kaabi, the Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Academy for Diplomatic Studies, Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Chief of GCC Affars, His Excellency Ambassador Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Eid. From the Omani side, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Oman’s Ambassador to the Kingdom, His Excellency Ambassador Abdullah bin Rashid bin Ali Al Mudilwi and the delegation accompanying the Foreign Minister attended the meeting.
