His Excellency Assistant Foreign Minister receives Director of United Nations Habitat Regional Office for Arab States
The Assistant Foreign Minister, H.E. Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabur Al-Doseri, received today the Director of the United Nations Habitat Regional Office for Arab States, H.E. Erfan Ali.
His Excellency the Assistant Foreign Minister praised the cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the UN-Habitat, noting the launch of the Executive Summary of the ‘State of Arab Cities Report 2020,
in cooperation with Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies (Derasat). He also stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain pays great attention to the principle of sustainable development in its foreign policy.
For his part, H.E. Erfan Ali praised the remarkable progress of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of urban development, stressing the UN-Habitat’s keenness to use the Kingdom’s experience in this field to achieve the goals of sustainable development and prosperity for mankind.
They also discussed a number of issues of common interest, and ways to strengthen aspects of bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two sides.
