H.E MoFA Undersecretary for Political Affairs meets ACD Secretary-General
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, H.E. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, met today through videoconference with the Secretary General of Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), H.E. Dr. Pornchai Danvivathana.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary for Political Affairs stressed Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to the goals and principles of ACD, and to promoting friendship and cooperation with Member States, in a way that would achieve the hopes and aspirations of the people of Asian countries.
He called for devoting collective efforts to address the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic and support sustainable development plans by investing the links and capabilities available between member states, and establishing solid and promising economic and technological partnerships.
It is worth noting that ACD aims to promote interaction between Asian countries in many areas of cooperation, in addition to supporting ways to consolidate the foundations of peace and prosperity.
