H.E. Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with Libyan Foreign Minister


 
 
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met today with the Her Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najla El-Mangoush, on the sidelines of his participation in the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat Daesh/ISIS in Rome.  
 
H.E. the Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated Ms. Najla El-Mangoush on her duties as the Minister of Foregin Affairs in the government of national unity, wishing her success in her duties.  
 
His Excellency noted the brotherly relation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Libya, in light of the mutual keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation and joint coordination. He also highlighted the Kingdom’s support for Libya’s efforts to strengthen security and stability and preserve Libya’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity and stop the interference in its internal affairs and the withdrawal of mercenaries and foreign forces and the convening of parliamentary elections on their scheduled date in order to achieve the aspirations of the brotherly Libyan people. 
 
For her part, H.E. Ms. Najla El-Mangoush valued the Kingdom of Bahrain’s supportive stances for the State of Libya and the efforts of the Libyan government to achieve security, stability, and reconstruction, stressing her country’s aspiration to enhance bilateral cooperation and joint coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further prosperity.  
 
The meeting saw the discussion of means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields.  
 
The Undersecretary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa was present at the meeting.
