H.E. Foreign Minister holds general meeting with MoFA employees
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, today held a general meeting through video conference with the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
The Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to the Ministry’s employees for their efforts exerted in safeguarding Bahrain’s interests and promoting its international status.
The Minister expressed his deep gratitude to His Majesty the King and to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the unlimited support and generous care that they provide to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He also praised the efforts made by the embassies of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad to implement the royal directive of His Majesty the King to start providing vaccinations to Bahraini citizens abroad, and the measures taken by the embassies to coordinate with the concerned authorities, noting the efforts of Bahrain embassies in UK, Egypt, Jordan and Pakistan.
The Minister expressed his pride and appreciation for the efforts of the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and their tireless quest to achieve growth and advancement in the work of the Ministry, explaining the future directions and visions that the Ministry intends to implement to develop the work and improve its outputs. He also pointed to the importance of constantly developing the capabilities and skills of the staff, including diplomats and administrators, to achieve comprehensive diplomacy, in order to keep pace with the requirements and challenges of the times, extending his thanks to the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies for the various courses and development and training programs they offer and organize for the benefit of the work and employees.
