Assistant Foreign Minister receives Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany to Kingdom of Bahrain, current representative of European Union
The Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jabr Al-Doseri, received in his office at the Ministry, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Bahrain and the current representative of the European Union, Kai Boeckmann, in the presence of the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jérôme Cauchard, and the Chargé d’Affairs of the Italian Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to discuss aspects of joint bilateral cooperation and coordination between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union in various fields.
The Assistant Foreign Minister praised the friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the European Union, noting the development of ties between the two sides at all levels. He commended the role of the EU in preserving regional and international security and stability, wishing the Ambassador continued success.
For his part, the German Ambassador stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation and joint coordination in a way that serves common interests. He also lauded the Kingdom’s role in promoting the principles and goals of human rights, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual concern.
