Ambassador of Bahrain to UK praises visit of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister to UK


The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom, Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, praised the results of the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the United Kingdom, where His Highness met with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of the United Kingdom, Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, and the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, Dominic Raab.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in London expressed his pride in the outcomes of this visit, that confirms the depth of the strong historical relations that unite both countries, which extend for more than two hundred years of joint cooperation in various fields, and are relations based on solid foundations in light of mutual keenness between them to consolidate joint cooperation and provide an appropriate environment to support common interests.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in London stressed the great efforts made by the leadership of both countries and their great keenness to strengthen this important relationship, not only to achieve common interests between the two countries, but also these efforts come as a support for achieving the security, stability and prosperity of the region, and both countries.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in London explained that the meetings, which discussed a number of important issues, also addressed the efforts of both countries in facing the COVID-19, given that the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom are among the distinguished countries in dealing with the pandemic, including pushing for vaccination programs. The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the invitation of the United Kingdom to participate in the Climate Summit (COP26) to be held in Glasgow, this year.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in London indicated that both sides, during the meetings, affirmed their appreciation for the efforts made by the various bilateral working groups existing between both countries, which deal with ways to increase and develop the volume of partnership between them at various levels in a way that enhances joint bilateral cooperation, including discussing free trade and expanding the circle of agreements that give a qualitative addition to creating opportunities for economic cooperation and facilitating direct investment opportunities in both countries in a way that enhances the level of trade exchange and stimulates economic partnership.
