Authorities from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Led by Mind of the International Relations Department, Mr Eugene Torchon-Newry, fulfilled with the Chargé d’Affaires, a. i., of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Mister Jeong Kyungbo, and South Korean Embassy officials on Monday, 5 December 2022, to discuss matters of mutual interest. Topics ranged from the Korean bids to web host the World Expo in 2030 in the city of Busan as well as for a non-permanent seat at the United Nations Security Council the coming year; bilateral matters of mutual technical interest; to Korea-Caribbean cooperation, as a follow-up to the recent participation of the Hon. Frederick A. Mitchell, MEGA-PIXEL, Minister of Foreign Matters and the Public Service, in the 12th High-Level Korea-Caribbean Discussion board.
Furthermore participating were Honourary Consul of South Korea to The Bahamas Mr Max Gibson and Foreign Service Officer Leslie St . Albord.
