Former Prime Minister Mulroney was a friend to The Bahamas, collaborating with former Prime Minister Sir. Lynden Pindling, on several international initiatives, included working towards ending the apartheid in South Africa and their contribution to the introduction of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
