NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANIZATION Ministerial in Bucharest, Minister Xhaçka: Albania reconfirmed being a key factor in the stability of the region

The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, participated in the meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers in Bucharest.
This particular ministerial discussed ways to reinforce the stability, develop abilities and preserve the political independence of NATO allies, who are most exposed to the particular threat from the east.
“We underlined the security of these partner countries is of direct importance in order to NATO and reaffirmed our commitment to the open door plan of the Atlantic Alliance. We also approved the NATO Report on the Western Balkans and we believe that it properly emphasizes the strategic significance of our region for the Alliance. Albania was reconfirmed with this ministerial not only as a deserving member of the alliance but a key factor in the balance of the region and of all of the allied countries in these troubled times for the whole globe”, stated Minister Xhaçka after the conference
