The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, had a phone conversation today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The conversation was focused on the latest developments in the UAE, bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The ministers during the conversation exchanged views on the cooperation in the Security Council, where the two countries have received a two-year term as non-permanent members.
The Middle East will be the focus of Albania during its mandate in the Security Council, said Minister Xhaçka and assured the willingness to work together with the Emirates side in advancing, sharing agendas and priorities within the Security Council.
Minister Xhaçka said that she condemns the terrorist attack on the UAE, as an act in violation of international law.
