Mohammad bin Ahmad Al-Musnad, National Security Advisor to the Emir of Qatar, Dr. Mutlaq Al-Qahtani & accompanying delegation called on Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi & the Minister of Information and Culture Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwah to discuss bilateral relations.

Minister Muttaqi said over the last ten months, Afghanistan has had great achievements in the areas of good governance, good neighborliness, economy, exports &security, and that serious efforts are underway to resolve the outstanding issues.Mr. Al-Musnad said he was satisfied to see security ensured in Afghanistan & that independent decisions were being made, adding that it was an important development for them as a strategic partner.He also added that he was here with the message of His Highness Emir of Qatar which is that the relations between Qatar and Afghanistan are long-standing and will continue in the future.Minister Muttaqi thanked Emir of Qatar for his message of friendship between the two countries & highlighted areas in which Qatar could assist Afghanistan, including political & diplomatic support, investment, economic development, humanitarian aid & fight against narcotics.
