KABUL – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has regretfully learned that two Afghan nationals were detained in connection with the murder of a 13 years old in Austria.
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Vienna will fully cooperate with the relevant authorities to proceed the investigation process.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again expresses its deepest sympathies and condolences to the Austrian government and family of the victim, and emphasizes empathy and solidarity between the people of the two countries.
The Consular staff of the Afghan Embassy in Vienna are working closely with the Austrian government officials to identify the suspects and provide necessary legal assistance to Afghan nationals.
