Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board Elects New Chair, Vice Chair

The 12-Member Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board has been established by Congress in order to supervise the global Fulbright Program as authorized by the Shared Educational and Cultural Trade Act of 1961 (PL87-256), also called the Fulbright-Hays Action.
In close dexterity with the U. S. Section of State’s Bureau associated with Educational and Cultural Matters, U. S. embassies, zwei staaten betreffend Fulbright Commissions in partner countries ,   and the U. S. Division of Education’s International and Foreign Language Office of Postsecondary Education, the Board encourages the Fulbright Program in order to audiences around the world. The Panel meets quarterly to establish policies for Fulbright participant choice and Program operations.
The Oughout. S. Department of State announced yesterday that the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FFSB) held its annual leadership elections today and elected Donna Brazile as the Board Chair and Michael Trager as Vice Chair.
Appointed with the President of the United States and symbolizing diverse facets of American society, the particular Board selects students, college students, teachers, and professionals from your United States and abroad to participate in Fulbright exchanges.
