The following statement was issued today by the Spokesman for UN Secretary-General António Guterres:
The Secretary-General welcomes the revocation by the United States of the Executive Order on Blocking Property of Certain Persons Associated with the International Criminal Court of 11 June 2020.
The International Criminal Court plays an important role in advancing accountability for international crimes.
The Secretary-General affirms the continued cooperation of the United Nations under the Relationship Agreement between the United Nations and the International Criminal Court.
