Closing of Tenth Review Conference of Parties to Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons

A brief summary of the closing session will be published at a future date.The Tenth Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, which opened on 1 August, was due to end on Friday, 26 August, in the General Assembly.  As the meeting started late, the session was suspended as soon as it opened by the President of the Conference, Gustavo Zlauvinen (Argentina), with a view to holding further consultations.
