Mr. Sabo has also offered in Ethiopian embassies overseas, holding the position of Counsellor and Deputy Head associated with Mission at his country’s embassies in Cairo, Greater london, Washington, D. C., plus Beijing. Promoted towards the rank of Ambassador in October 2010, he has served in the Ethiopian civil services for 35 years. Just before his appointment, Mr. Sabo served as Condition Minister for Foreign Matters from June to December 2022. From 2018 to 2022, he served as Ethiopia’s Permanent Representative to the African Union as well as the United Nations Economic Commission designed for Africa.
