Pr release: UK sanctions Myanmar modern aviation fuel businesses marking 2 yrs since coup

In the United Nations, the UK successfully transferred a Security Council Resolution around the crisis, the first of its kind, to apply further pressure within the military junta to end the violence. It also strongly supports ASEAN’s Five Point General opinion, which demands the army immediately ceases its assault and engages in constructive dialogue with all parties. Companies supplying the Myanmar Air Force using the aviation fuel to carry out its relentless bombing campaign against innocent people have been focused by the UK in the most recent round of sanctions introduced to coincide with the second anniversary of the brutal hen house that ousted Myanmar’s selected government.
