Pr release: UK firms up support for Georgia in yearly Wardrop Dialogue

He also set out the UK’s  commitment to playing a top role in supporting Georgia to strengthen resilience against hybrid threats. This improves the wide-ranging assistance the united kingdom already provides to Georgia covering military cooperation, internet security and counter-disinformation. The Foreign Secretary recognized Russia’s invasion of Ukraine  demonstrated the need to enhance and deepen cooperation with countries, including Georgia, that are especially vulnerable to Russian aggression. These days I reiterated that the UNITED KINGDOM stands with our Georgian friends, and will continue our top role in supporting these to counter hybrid threats they will continue to face from Russian federation.

As part of the dialogue, the foreign ministers also signed an agreement to enhance  assistance on readmissions.
