The Honourable Hugh Todd, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, today welcomed the Honourable Albert Ramdin, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and International Cooperation of Suriname, who is leading a delegation to Guyana on a working visit from 12th to 14th June 2021.
During an initial engagement, Foreign Minister Todd and Foreign Minister Ramdin discussed matters of democracy and security in the region. The Foreign Ministers also discussed current national concerns including the recent flooding and the COVID-19 pandemic, which are given priority in both countries.
