Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited Kuwait on 1 October 2020 to convey our condolences on behalf of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish nation.
Minister Çavuşoğlu extended condolences on behalf of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish nation to the new Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait and to the friendly and brotherly Kuwaiti people, and wished Allah’s mercy upon the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah .
On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu also extended our condolences to Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah of Kuwait, and stated that we would further develop our cooperation in every field with friendly and brotherly Kuwait during new Emir Sheikh Nawaf’s term as well.
