Participation of Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in the Third Türkiye-Africa Partnership Summit, 16-18 December 2021

Foreign Minister Minister Çavuşoğlu is holding bilaterals with his counterparts in the framework of the Third Türkiye-Africa Partnership Summit taking place on December 16-18 in Istanbul under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, attended by the Heads of State/Government and Ministers of African countries and the African Union Commission.

On 16 December 2021, Minister Çavuşoğlu met first with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation Albert Shingiro of Burundi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kandia Kamissoko Camara of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Frederic Shava of the Republic of Zimbabwe.

Then, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with his colleagues Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed from Mauritania, Sylvie Baïpo-Temon from Central African Republic, David John Francis from Sierra Leone and Abdisaid Muse Ali from Somalia.

Finally on the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu held meetings respectively with Foreign Minister Chérif Mahamat Zene of Chad, Foreign Minister Lejeune Mbella Mbella of Cameroon and Fevzi El-Nuwayri, Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives of Libya.
