Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu participated in the 24th Meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Council of Ministers in Antalya on 9 November 2019.
During his speech at the 24th Meeting of the Council of Ministers, Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that we assumed for the 4th time the Chairmanship of the Economic Cooperation Organization.
Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that with 8 million square kilometers land area and nearly half a billion population ECO is an important regional platform and that we would work together to make ECO a more effective organization.
Minister Çavuşoğlu met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kudret Özersay of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the framework of the 24th Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers.
At the meeting cooperation between our countries were evaluated.
Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with Foreign Minister Javad Zarif of Iran.
