Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held a videoconference meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on 26 November 2020.
During the meeting, preparations for next week’s Foreign Ministers Meeting were discussed.
Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that the recent developments in Eastern Mediterranean, Afghanistan, Libya and Nagorno Karabagh were evaluated at the meeting, and emphasized that the inspection of a Turkish-flagged commercial vessel without Turkey’s consent under Operation Irini was unacceptable.
On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu attended as well the 10th International Resort Tourism Congress via videoconference.
Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that we shared the steps we had taken so far to make our country a world brand in tourism and that we would continue our efforts to advance tourism, which was one of the most important components of our diplomacy.
