Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu had a meeting in Ankara with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on 5 October 2020.
At the meeting, Eastern Mediterranean, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Armenia’s aggression were discussed.
Following the meeting, Minister Çavuşoğlu held a joint press conference with NATO’s Secretary General.
Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that we were supporting the deconfliction mechanism in the Eastern Mediterranean, that we were expecting support from our Allies in the fight against terrorism, and that, in any case, our Allies should not support terror organizations.
