On 6 January 2020, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Awut Deng Acuil of South Sudan during her first visit to Turkey.
Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that we would further develop our economic and commercial relations and that our support to the people of South Sudan and the peace process would continue.
Following the meeting, the two Ministers held a joint press conference.
