On 18 January 2022, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu had a meeting in Ankara with Isiaka Abdulkadir Imam, new Secretary General of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation and wished him success in office.
On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu received Ambassadors Muhammed Aly Ag Ibrahimi of Mali and Luis Alberto Amoros Nuñez of Cuba and thanked them for their contributions to the relations between our countries.
Later that day, Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with the newly appointed Ambassador Elvis Antonio Alam Lora of the Dominican Republic.
