Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with Interior Minister Horst Seehofer of Germany and EU Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship on 4 October 2019.
At the meeting, Syrian refugees, irregular migration and voluntary return of Syrian refugees in Turkey were discussed.
Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized that the EU should fulfill its obligations under the 18 March Agreement.
On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with newly appointed Ambassador Hassan Janabi of Iraq, Ambassador Moises Mba Nchama of Equatorial Guinea and Ambassador David. M. Satterfield of the USA and wished them success during their term.
Minister Çavuşoğlu also met with Ambassador Petros Mavroidis of Greece and thanked him at the end of his term.
