Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held a meeting on 19 January 2021 in Ankara with Francisco Javier Hergueta, Ambassador of Spain to Turkey and Pablo Menendez, the Director General of the Eastern Mediterranean Branch of the company Navantia that provides design support to TCG Anadolu.
Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that during the meeting our cooperation in defence industry was discussed and that our Multipurpose Amphibious Assault Ship, the TCG Anadolu would be soon in service.
On the same day, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with newly appointed Ambassadors Paul Huynen of Belgium, Adis Alagic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Theresa Cutajar of Malta and wished them success during their tenures.
Minister Çavuşoğlu also held a meeting with Ambassador Dr. Hassan Janabi of Iraq who reached the end of his tenure, and thanked him for his contributions to our relations.
