Agreement on higher ambitions and increased international collaboration at LeadIT Summit

Leadership Group for Industry Transition (LeadIT)

LeadIT was launched by the governments of Sweden and India at the UN Climate Action Summit in New York in 2019. It has been developed in cooperation with the World Economic Forum and gathers both public and private actors. LeadIT members are committed to ensuring that energy-intensive industries progress on low-carbon pathways, aiming to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

LeadIT Member Countries: Argentina, Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Republic of Korea, Sweden, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

LeadIT Member Companies: CarbFix, Dalmia Cement, DSM, FLSmidth, Heathrow Airport, Hybrit, LafargeHolcim, LKAB, Mahindra Group, Scania, Royal Schiphol Group, SpiceJet, SSAB, ThyssenKrupp, Vattenfall, and Volvo.
