President Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong have written to Indonesian President Joko Widodo to convey their condolences over the crash of Sriwijaya Air flight SJ182 in Indonesia on 9 January 2021. Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan has also written to Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi to express his sympathies.

            Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of those on SJ182. Singapore stands ready to offer any possible assistance.
