Saint Lucia Employers Federation appoints new Executive Director

MR. JEROME JULES HAS WORKED WITHIN THE PUBLIC SERVICE FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS.

The St. Lucia Employers Federation recently appointed a new Executive Director to succeed Joseph Alexander who demitted office last year.

Effective September 6, 2021 Mr. Jerome Jules became the new Executive Director of the Federation.

Mr. Jules brings to the job, a wealth of experience in both the Public and the Private sectors. Mr. Jules served in many different capacities in the public service for over twenty years, including the post of Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Communications and Works.

Since leaving the public service, he has held a number of senior positions including that of Chief Executive Officer at the National Insurance Property Development and Management Company (NIPRO), and Chief Executive Officer at the National Utilities Regulatory Commission (NURC).

Mr. Jules has served as a Director on a number of Boards of Management including, the St. Lucia Marketing Board, the St. Lucia Air and Seaports Authority (SLASPA) and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC).

Mr. Jules holds a Bsc. in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and a Msc. in Agribusiness Management from Arizona State University.
