Once signed, the Agreement will reinforce the strategic nature of Russia’s interaction with the UN World Food Programme in the sphere of providing humanitarian aid, help promote Russian-made products on the UN humanitarian services market, and improve Russia’s position as an active participant in the process of promoting international development.
