“Thank you!” – This is one of greetings most frequently used in daily life in order to express gratitude for the grace and help of others.
This daily used word, common word regarded as normal greetings have become placed deep in the hearts of our people as a language of happiness.
Exactly one year ago, respected Comrade Kim Jong Un moved all our people to tears with single word “Thank you!” at the parade held in Kim Il Sung Square.
The entire people across the country couldn’t resist their feelings of gratitude and overwhelming emotion, when they heard him saying that he had thought over what to say first at this delightful night, when we overcame all the hardship in 2020 hit by the tragic health crisis – that inflicted a great misfortune on the world – and the successive rare typhoons, but the only sincere word he wanted to say from the bottom of his heart is “Thank you!”, and when he thanked all our people for staying disease-free and healthy.
His sincerity for the people was reflected in all measures, big and small, taken by the Party and state, warming the hearts of people ever more.
At a Party meeting held this year, respected Comrade Kim Jong Un formulated a Party policy to supply all children of the country with nutritious food including dairy products at state’s expense, again moving to tears all people and all mothers of the country.
As this was a decision made not in normal days but under very difficult conditions, given to the people was so much great and fervent.
There are many countries in the world, yet ours is the only country where the Party and the state formulate as a policy the issue of nutrition for all children, and unsparingly put enormous spending on it.
There are not a few children in the world who suffer at very young ages the misfortunes and pains even adults find it difficult to sustain. This is because they do not have the bosom that protects their destinies even though they have parents. Mothers in our country, whenever they see such miserable scenes on screens and newspapers, are moved to tears as they feel stronger the benevolence of our Party.
Today, all mothers and people of this country render the most heartfelt greetings of thanks to the Workers’ Party of Korea on its birthday, saying “Thank you!”.
