Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), received a reply message from Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP), on January 26.
Thongloun Sisoulith in the message expressed heartfelt gratitude to Kim Jong Un for sending him warm congratulations and best wishes upon his election as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the LPRP at its 11th Congress.
He said the warm congratulations and best wishes are an expression of fraternal and comradely support, firm solidarity and unswerving trust based on common idea and serve as great encouragement to him in leading the work for defending the country and the cause of building a socialist state.
He wished Kim Jong Un happiness in good health and success in his noble work.
He hoped that the long-standing friendly relations between the two Parties, states and peoples of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea would grow stronger in conformity with the substantial interests of the peoples of the two countries as well as the regional and global peace, friendship and cooperation.
