Russian media carried special write-ups on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the demise of President Kim Il Sung.
The media carried articles titled “An outstanding elder statesman in the 20th century” and “Humanity of the great man” illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung and his photos.
The newspaper Zavtra said that the President was boundlessly revered by all peoples as a prominent statesman for his warm humanity, citing what Hans Klecatsky, former Minister of Justice of Austria, told about the great man’s noble traits.
An article posted on the Russian internet news Krasnaya Vesna praised the President for positively supporting the peoples of many countries in the world in their struggle for opposing imperialism and realizing independence and thus making a great contribution to the cause of independence against imperialism.
Similar articles were posted on the internet homepage Grifon Prestij and the homepages of the Primorskij Kraj Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in the Far Eastern Region of Russia.
The articles dealt with the revolutionary career and exploits of the President who devoted himself to the happiness of the people, regarding it as his motto to believe in the people as in Heaven.
The newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda, the internet newspaper Edinaya Korea, the international political magazine “World Community”, the internet homepages Patrioti Moskva, Irkutskblogspot. Ru and Friends of Korea, the internet homepage of the Khabarovsk Kraj Khabinfo.ru, the internet homepages of the Vladivostok City Committee and the Sakhalin Oblast Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation carried articles dealing with the personality of the President as a great man under such titles as “President Kim Il Sung’s exploits for building regular armed forces” and “Start of journey for people at dawn”.
