Today, 17th November, 2022, the Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Geoffrey Onyeama received in audience H.E. Alhaji Rasid Bawa, the Ghanaian High Commissioner to Nigeria.
The High Commissioner conveyed his home government’s disapproval of the travel advisory issued on 16th Nov. 2022 for Ghanaians to avoid non-essential travels to Abuja. He noted that the statement was unauthorized and had since been withdrawn. The Hon. Minister extolled the warm relations between Nigeria and Ghana and lauded the development.
