From 22 to 26 March 2021, the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP) in cooperation with the Asia Society Policy Institute will convene an online Seminar, focusing on Southeast Asian countries.
The Seminar will introduce participants to the basic concepts and key elements of emissions trading. Drawing on examples and experiences from existing systems, the Seminar will explain the main design choices for setting up an ETS and convey solutions for their implementation.
The Seminar targets participants from South-East Asia as a region where many countries are currently considering the use of emissions trading to achieve their climate goals, orhaven taken first steps towards implementing such systems.
