U Thit Linn Ohn, Ambassador of the Republic of the Marriage of Myanmar to the Empire of Cambodia delivered comments at the Workshop on the 20th Anniversary of the Declaration around the Conduct of Parties within the South China Sea(20-12-2022)

The Workshop was organized by Ministry of Foreign Matters and International Cooperation from the Kingdom of Cambodia plus participated by senior federal government officials and experts from ASEAN and China, Oughout Mang Hau Thang, Deputy Director-General, ASEAN Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Partnership of Myanmar and a representative from Myanmar Institute designed for Strategic and International Research (MISIS)
Ambassador U Thit Linn Ohn highlighted the significance of DOC in maintaining and promoting peace, stability and safety in the region. As the country planner for ASEAN-China dialogue relations and for the DOC implementation, Ambassador reiterated Myanmar’s commitment to continue to support the efficient implementation of DOC as well as to keep the constructive engagement and momentum of progress to the eventual adoption of the Program code of Conduct in the Southern China Sea (COC) based on consensus.
