PRINCIPLE OF LAW: OPEN DISCUSSION OF THE UN SECURITY AUTHORITIES

Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations, Enkhbold Vorshilov took part in the open debate. In his deal with, he reaffirmed Mongolia’s unwavering support for the rule of law, and also highlighted about initiatives undertaken towards conditioning international peace and safety, such as Ulaanbaatar Dialogue system, Mongolia’s nuclear-weapon-free status and its participation in the Un Peacekeeping Operations. UN Security Council open debate was chaired by Japanese Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) of Foreign Affairs and President of the Security Council, Hayashi Yoshimasa. The UN Secretary-General António Guterres, President of the International Court associated with Justice Joan E. Donoghue, and Dapo Akande, Teacher of Public International Legislation at Oxford University briefed the debate. Representatives of more than 70 countries participated on view debate. UN Security Council ministerial-level open debate was held under the style “Promotion and strengthening of the rule of law within the maintenance of international peace plus security: the rule of law among nations” on January 12, 2023.
