FOREIGN MINISTER B.BATTSETSEG RECEIVES HONORARY CONSUL AHN KYUNG-MO – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia

On 13 February 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg received Ahn Kyung-Mo, who is appointed as Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Gangwon and Gyeonggi provinces of the Republic of Korea, and wished success in assuming his duties.At the meeting, Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg highlighted that the bilateral relationship and cooperation Mongolia and the Republic of Korea is expanding and deepening at the “Strategic Partnership” level and people-to-people exchanges are increasing between the two countries. Also, she expressed confidence that the newly appointed Honorary Consul Ahn Kyung-Mo would contribute to further deepening of bilateral relations and accelerating the cooperation in various areas, including tourism, culture, art and education.Honorary Consul Ahn Kyung-Mo expressed his commitment to actively work towards fostering bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries as well as protecting the interests of Mongolian citizens residing in South Korea.
