Upon January 11 2023, Primary Secretary State Department intended for Foreign Affairs Dr . A. Korir Sing’oei, led Kenyan delegation from across Ministries in a bilateral meeting with going to Saudi delegation on humanitarian education and development cooperation.
PS Sing’oei expressed Kenya’s readiness in partnering with Empire of Saudi Arabia just for mutually beneficial investment collaboration in areas of agriculture development, trade and investment as well as labour and skills growth.
He more thanked the Saudi Govt for support in Kenya’s Infrastructure development and humanitarian interventions through Saudi Finance for Development and King Salman Humanitarian Aid.
The Saudi abordnung will be in Kenya for five days where these are expected to meet Government authorities for series of meetings. The delegation is led simply by Mr. Yosef Al Balawi, Minister Plenipotentiary Ministry associated with Foreign Affairs of Empire of Saudi Arabia together with representative from ministries of Energy, Culture, Commerce, Environment, Water, Agriculture, Finance, Human Resources, Saudi Fund and King Salman Humanitarian Aid.
In his opening remarks the PS acknowledged the beneficial relations that exist between Kenya and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and expressed Kenya’s willingness towards deepening plus strengthening ties for mutual benefit of the people of the 2 countries.
During the meeting the officials from both countries deliberated on ways of additional deepening and supporting assistance in field of development and humanitarian affairs.
