Nur-Sultan, March 12, 2021 – Current issues of the Kazakh-Chinese relations were discussed at the meeting of the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Shakhrat Nuryshev with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China Zhang Xiao.
Among other questions, the sides discussed the appeals of Kazakhstan citizens for assistance in reunification with relatives living in the PRC.
Ambassador Zhang Xiao said that the relatives of the applicants were the citizens of the PRC and were serving their sentences involving violations of the country’s legislation.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue joint work through consular services in accordance with the principles of international law.
