Nur-Sultan, March 15, 2021 – Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi received UK Ambassador to Kazakhstan Mike Gifford on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in our country.
During the friendly conversation, the diplomats discussed the state and prospects of Kazakh-British cooperation in all key areas.
Tileuberdi particularly stressed the Ambassador’s contribution to the expansion and strengthening of the strategic partnership between Nur-Sultan and London. The interlocutors welcomed the joint plans to sign a new agreement on strategic partnership and cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom, in connection with the latter’s exit from the European Union.
Acknowledging personal contribution made by Ambassador Gifford to the development of bilateral cooperation, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
