Visit of the UK Foreign Secretary to India

The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, United Kingdom, Mr. William Hague will be on an official visit to India from 07-09 November, 2012.
During his stay in New Delhi, Mr. Hague will hold talks with External Affairs Minister, Shri Salman Khurshid on 8th November, 2012. Both sides would discuss bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest.
India and the United Kingdom enjoy a strategic partnership since 2004 which has been marked by regular high level exchanges and growing cooperation in diverse areas. Bilateral relations go beyond trade and commerce with increasing focus on cooperation in the fields of S&T, education, space and defence technology, civil nuclear cooperation, counter terrorism and green energy initiatives
