The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, will pay a State Visit to Belgium from October 2-5, 2013, at the invitation of the King of the Belgians. It would be the first visit by an Indian President to Belgium.
The President will inaugurate ‘Europalia-India 2013-14’, jointly with HM King Philippe.
After his State Visit to Belgium, the President will pay a State Visit to Turkey from October 5-7, 2013, at the invitation of the President of Turkey. It would be the third visit by an Indian President to Turkey, after the visits by the President of India in 1993 and 1998.
On both these visits, the President would be accompanied by a High Level Delegation, including Ministers, Senior Officials and Senior Representatives of our educational and academic institutions
