Cycle Rally commemorating Rashtriya Ekta Diwas arrives at Goa

CISF bicycle rally as part of Rashtryia Ekta Diwas celebrations from Thiruvananthapuram to Kevadia comprising 16 riders arrived at Goa on 11 October 2021. Cyclists from the Indian Navy escorted the riding team to the Naval Aviation Museum, Dabolim. Rear Admiral Philipose G Pynumootil, Flag Officer Commanding Goa Area interacted with the riders and felicitated them. The riders were taken around the museum as well.
The bicycle rally, commenced from Thiruvananthapuram on 29 September 2021 will culminate at the ‘Statue of Unity’ at Kevadia in Gujarat on 26 October 2021, travelling through Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra. CISF personnel of 15 southern regions are participating in the rally covering around 2100 km .Asst Commandant Ajayan T, CISF unit, MPT Goa was also present on the occasion.National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is celebrated on October 31 every year to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
